[ActionScript 2 Tutorial]

Quite good but needs a bit refining.

.PROs.

The variety of different tutorials really helps to set out a broad range of knowledge for beginners allowing them to experiment. Easy to read text and the viewer can easily distinguish between AS2 and instructions. The cursor was a nice addition and the tutorial had a fairly nice layout (easy to use).

.CONs.

Important things such as onClipEvent();s needed to be explained, as that's extremely important for any flash game (which is what actionscript is normally used for). Some parts such as "Walls" and "Enemies" should have some explanation as they can be quite hard for beginners to understand.

Overall, this tutorial will give beginners some grasp on the basics of AS2 but the more difficult concepts need more depth. As for graphics, that isn't much of a concern to me but perhaps it's worth looking into. 64/100 B-

[Speed Animation Tutorial]

Insightful and well demonstrated

To be honest, I've always been scared to try animation of any kind, this has given me some more confidence.
The examples, voice-overs and explanations help to improve understanding of animation. You've also given the audience two different ways on character animation, allowing some variety.

The level was enjoyable to a certain extent, however, I'd feel the game would be more enjoyable with the following:
More levels!
Powerups
High Scores, if more levels are added
And possibly different modes

The flash needs work but it'll get my thumbs up if some of these features are added to the game, 62/100 C+

PS, I liked the artwork. I understand that you do not possess the info to add powerups yet, but they would be a great addition.

Thanks. :) I think I'll try to get some help from my teacher to make updates on this. Adding levels and powerups, etc. I like the idea of enabling a high score, too.

[The Big Fat Tutorial]

This is great!

I've always had trouble with BG's but now I feel more confident with them.
Overall, it's good, butI would have expected more than just six sections for it to be named "The big fat tutorial", however you seem to demonstrate all of these areas with quality.

The sections I covered were based on suggestions made at the time... or queries on how to do certain things like the masking and rain.
